Charles M. Fahlbusch is a senior associate of the firm and concentrates his practice on insurance defense litigation, with a primary focus as lead trial counsel in First Party Property suits with regards to residential property damage. Mr. Fahlbusch joined Rubinton & Associates with 40 years' experience handling complex litigation and appeals.

A former Captain in the U.S. Air Force and a former Chief Industrial Engineer for a volume mail-order house, Mr. Fahlbusch spent the first decade of his legal career working at several renowned South Florida firms, practicing general civil litigation, including commercial, real estate, admiralty, and probate.

In 1984, Mr. Fahlbusch joined the Criminal Division in Miami, Florida, as the Assistant Attorney General. Since then, Mr. Fahlbusch has acquired over 30 years of experience at the Office of the Attorney General and over 40 years of legal practice in general. Specifically, in 1992, Mr. Fahlbusch became the Bureau Chief of the Broward Appellate Section for the Office of the Attorney General. In 1997, Mr. Fahlbusch became the Senior Attorney of the Civil Division for the Office of the Attorney General. And in 2013, Mr. Fahlbusch became Special Counsel Assistant Attorney General, where he supervised appeals, extraordinary writs in all Federal and State Courts on behalf of state agencies and officials, and led special projections litigation teams from trial level through the appellate level.

Mr. Fahlbusch and Mr. Rubinton had worked together at the Office of the Attorney General for approximately five years, and in 2015, Mr. Fahlbusch joined Rubinton & Associates, PA to reestablish their working relationship.
